The grandest grand opening

Challenge

Automotive supplier Plastic Omnium, wanted to celebrate the grand opening of its new $110 million production facility in Metro Detroit. CPS was game to help.

Solution

Plastic Omnium wanted to both showcase the new facility and broadcast remarks from the company’s leadership in France. CPS partnered with Franco Public Relations Group to build a large-scale, clear-span tent, complete with flooring, heating and cooling systems.

Once the infrastructure was in place, production design began. Multiple trussing systems throughout the tent provided hang points for our required lighting, audio and projections systems.

Result

Success. The afternoon reception, luncheon and guided tour welcomed 300 guests and attracted much media and community attention.
